Unconventional Cleaning

Today ended up being a cleaning day. It is always best to get the children involved when at all possible. Their job today was to take care of the entry and kitchen floors. After sweeping, I gave each child a rag and bowl of Murphy's Oil Soap to share. The rest was nothing less than entertainment.

When their clothing got too wet for the job, they took matters into their own hands. I don't think they've ever had so much fun doing chores.

Kennedy chose to clean the bathroom rather than help out with the kitchen floor. I think she later regretted her decision. She kept coming back to offer help and advice.

They are very shiny!

Make sure you blog tomorrow about pulling out a hot pan from the oven and slipping and falling on your waxy floors and the trip to the ER for your broken wrist!

I love it!! Can I assume that this officially-recorded, parent-approved blog is license for a grandmother to allow such activity in her kitchen? Looks like so much fun!!
