Catching Up

Jacob's Ladder

Ken and the boys recently made a Jacob's Ladder for the fort. The steps came from the branches of one of our trees in the front yard. Climbing it is not as easy at it looks!
Richard Scary's Busytown

Seattle Children's Theater puts on amazing performances. Busytown was no exception. The children laughed as Banana's Gorilla was chased by Sargent Murphy, Able-Baker-Charlie made a loaf of bread large enough to bounce on like a trampoline, and Lowly Worm traveled half-way across the globe to deliver an invitation to Grandmother Cat for her birthday surprise party. My children love Richard Scary's books and movies, so seeing the play was a real treat!

We unexpectedly met up with some friends at the play and went out for an impromptu beverage afterward. Strange side note: My iced venti Americano was stolen from our table when I briefly got up to check on my children. When we returned, my friend's beverage was there, but mine was mysteriously gone. The Starbucks barista said that it happens all the time at that particular location and gladly made me another.

Homeschool Co-op End-of-the-Year Program
This photo was taken at the end-of-the-year program for our co-op. Kennedy has made some very nice friends this year.

The pre-school class sang He's Got the Whole World in His Hands. The clip is only 2 seconds, but I didn't want to leave the boys out.
