Yesterday was our last "official" day of
homeschool with our friends. We had a great system worked out where my friend acted as preschool teacher and worked with my boys, while I taught our girls their first grade material. I am thankful for our little partnership that not only made our school year run more smoothly, but made it a lot more fun.
We went to the park after school to celebrate. The weather was less than perfect, but the children didn't mind.
Today was the first day of summer vacation. We had a good day. We swam at the YMCA, had a picnic outside, spent time at the library, and played in the yard. We are looking forward to a lot more of these fun-filled days.
