Kennedy and I spent a fun day together this week. We rarely get time alone, so it was especially sweet to continue our (4th annual) tradition of attending the Nutcracker.
A few of Kennedy's home school friends and their moms made a special day of it, too.
Afterward, Kennedy and Erica walked over to Starbucks and enjoyed some cocoa.
I surprised Kennedy by taking her ice skating. We are kinda wobbly, but we're having fun!

What a beautiful pair of ladies! Kennedy, your great-grandmother Esther would never have imagined such a sparkling child wearing her high school red sweater 65 years later! I'm so glad to see the photos of your day together!
