What? You didn't hear about the newest member of our family? That's right folks, our family has adopted an adorable whitish-tanish female lab.
Why? Because we have wanted Jackson to have a dog for a while now, and the opportunity just came our way (thanks Uncle Dan and Aunt Heidi!). Oh, and we are slightly insane.
When? Thursday; just three short days ago. So this puppy ownership is new for all of us.
Some of our possibilities are: Hazel, Honey, Berkeley, Snowball, Cedar, Sushi, Donut, and Vanilla. Let us know what you think she should be called!

What?! You didn't tell me about this earlier! I think you started to, but we didn't get back to it. Wow! What a cutie! Maybe this will help calm my kids fear of dogs - being around yours. How about another presidential name or geographic name that you love? Congratulations!

My kids would say "Cowboy"...our yellow lab (Ranger) is now almost 11! A lot of work but a lot of fun. Break the bad habits early!!! (Aka jumping up on people, chewing shoes, licking etc.) laying on furniture or they will never stop!
I know Roosevelt (Rosie) is out --- just in case it's needed for someone else --- but have you considered Eleanor (Ellie)?

Wow. You finally caved in. I never thought you guys would actually get a dog! How exciting for Jacko! Wait a minute... isnt kennedy terrified of dogs? Hopefully this will calm her fears! =0)
