My dear sister-in-law who is responsible for giving us our new puppy, came over today to offer her assistance to us as we try to learn about our new dog and how to care for her. She failed to mention that it was her birthday. I failed to mention that I knew it.
So after a few hours of Puppy 101 class and playing with the cousins, the other guests arrived. It was such a relief and joy to wish Heidi a happy birthday after pretending all day that we forgot!
We love you, Aunt Heidi. You are so kind and precious. Thanks for spending your birthday with us!
The little guys had fun playing in the puppy kennel.

Nate likes the name Mylie for the pup if you haven't picked one yet....some friends of ours have one identical to yours minus one leg, but that didn't stop her from becoming the obedience champion at the Puyallup Fair this year!
